When performing a self-installation, it is important to get an accurate measurement of the staircase. This is explained in our “How To Measure” guide, but if you have any questions our stair lift experts would be happy to walk you through the measuring process.
The Ultra Deluxe Stair Lift comes with an easy to follow illustrated installation manual, which is also available for download. To make the installation even easier, many of the individual components come preassembled. For instance, the seat and chassis are already in place.
The Ultra Series Stair Lifts are all DC Powered Stair Lifts. This means that they are battery powered. While the motor is run by a rechargeable battery, these stair lifts are still plugged into an electrical outlet. The advantage of a DC powered stair lift is that when the power goes out, you will still be able to safely use the stair lift.
