The AmeriGlide Ultra Premier Stair Lift is a very elegant and popular stair lift. The Ultra Series Stair Lifts are all designed with safety in mind and will provide many years of dependable service.
The Ultra Premier Stair Lift and AmeriGlide’s other lifts are designed so that installation can be completed by the homeowner. Many of the components, like the chassis and the seat assembly, are already assembled. This makes the installation much easier to complete.
The process begins with measuring the stairs, which is explained in our “How to Measure” section. If you need any help, our stair chair experts can walk you through the process. Included with the lift is a detailed installation manual that has pictures and diagrams. The manual can also be downloaded.
There are six stair lifts that make up AmeriGlide’s Ultra Series. These stair lifts are battery operated stair lifts, which means that they will continue to work if the power goes out. Referred to as a DC stair lift, they plug into a regular outlet, but the motor is powered by a rechargeable battery.
The Ultra Premier Stair Lift comes with the highest quality seat we offer. It's a fully padded seat with padded armrests. Both the seat and armrests fold up when not in use. A wider range of colors is available, too.
